Preview stills, a story and a teaser video for Episode 9 of the anime Ranma 1/2 have arrived. Episode 9 is set to air on November 29 at 24:55 on Japanese broadcast networks and will be subsequently streamed on Netflix in various countries.

EP9 “I Won't Let Go of This Hand” Story

The long-awaited day of the martial arts pairs skating match has arrived! A fierce battle for Akane's lips begins between P-chan and Ranma. Opponents Azusa and the Mikado plot to tear Ranma and Akane apart with their signature move, the fearsome "Breakup Merry-Go-Round." Despite their efforts, Ranma refuses to let go of Akane's hand, shielding her at the cost of his own injury.

Meanwhile, P-chan, who should have been chained up, suddenly disappears... What could this mean for the competition?

Ranma 1/2 is a martial arts romantic comedy centered around high schooler Ranma Saotome, who transforms into a girl when splashed with cold water, and his fiancée Akane Tendo. The original TV anime aired from 1989 to 1992, followed by several movies and OVA adaptations. In 2011, the series was adapted into a live-action drama starring Yui Aragaki as Akane.
