[NETFLIX] "Suicide Squad ISEKAI" Streaming on Netflix From September 9; Available on Cartoon Network and ABEMA
The anime "Suicide Squad ISEKAI", which aired its final episode on the night of the 6th, will be available for unlimited streaming on Netflix starting at noon on the 9th. Information on streaming through CS broadcast Cartoon Network and ABEMA has also been announced.
This original Japanese animation features popular DC Comics villains like Harley Quinn and Deadshot causing chaos in a sword-and-sorcery fantasy world.
Character design is provided by manga artist Akira Amano, known for works like "Reborn!", while series composition and script are handled by Tappei Nagatsuki, the author of "Re
- Starting Life in Another World" and a leading figure in isekai fantasy, in collaboration with Eiji Umehara, who worked with Nagatsuki on "Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song." The series is directed by Eri Nagata, making her directorial debut. Music is composed by Kenichiro Suehiro ("Re
"), with the opening theme by Tomoyasu Hotei and the ending theme by VTuber artist Mori Calliope.
In Japan, the series has been airing since July on TOKYO MX and BS11. It has also been performing strongly in terms of viewership on Max in North America, Europe, and Latin America, as well as HBO GO in Asia.
Cartoon Network: On September 21, from 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM, "Suicide Squad ISEKAI" Episodes 1 through 10 will be broadcast consecutively. Additionally, the day coincides with "Batman Day," with "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 1 & Part 2" airing at midnight and "Batman & Harley Quinn" making its Japan premiere at 6:00 PM.
ABEMA: On September 8 at 7:00 PM and October 5 at 7:00 PM, all episodes will be streamed in one go. Streaming is free for one week after the release, after which it will be available on ABEMA Premium.
