To celebrate the release of Volume 14 of the manga SPY×FAMILY on September 4, a special web content collaboration with the iconic sound novel Banshee's Last Cry (known in Japan as Kamaitachi no Yoru), which is celebrating its 30th anniversary, has been launched on a dedicated site.

The web content is based on Chapter 94 from Volume 14 of SPY×FAMILY. With full cooperation from Spike Chunsoft, the developers of Banshee's Last Cry, the BGM, sound effects, background images, and fonts have all been faithfully recreated from the Super Famicom version of the game. Titled Banshee's Last Yor, the content allows fans to experience a suspenseful sound novel-style story where the Forger family encounters a tragic event at the pension "Spool." When Chapter 94 was first released on the Shonen Jump+ platform in January 2024, many readers noticed its similarities to Banshee's Last Cry, sparking excitement and leading to this unique collaboration between the two vastly different worlds.

SPY×FAMILY started serialization on Shonen Jump+ on March 25, 2019, and follows the story of a spy, an assassin, and a telepath who form a pretend family. With over 36 million copies in circulation, the series has been adapted into a TV anime and a musical.
