KADOKAWA has released Osamu Souda's final work, "Bokura no (Ma) Taisen," today, August 7. Souda, who passed away on April 8, authored the "Bokura" series, beginning with "Bokura no Nanokakan Sensou(Seven Days War)," which has sold over 20 million copies.
According to KADOKAWA, "He consistently supported children and continued writing new works even at the age of 95, embedding his hopes for future generations in his stories. Drawing from his experiences during World War II, he opposed wars that cause suffering to children. His gentle and cheerful personality and kind smile will be fondly remembered. We express our utmost respect and gratitude for Osamu Souda's long and distinguished career as a writer and extend our deepest condolences."
Additionally, the live-action film "Bokura no Nanokakan Sensou( Seven Days War)" is being streamed for free on the YouTube channel "Kadokawa Cinema Collection" until the 16th.
