The new project "Maomao and Jinshi Explore the Seasons" for the TV anime "The Apothecary Diaries" has been launched.

Starting from the 22nd of each month, a new visual will be released. The first visual, themed around Maomao, Jinshi, and lotus flowers, which are in full bloom in July, has been unveiled.

Set in medieval Asia, this popular palace mystery-solving entertainment series follows a young "poison tester" girl who solves various challenging cases within the imperial court. The original novel started serialization on the novel posting site "Shousetsuka ni Narou" in October 2011 and was later published by Hero Bunko.

The manga adaptation is currently serialized in the monthly magazines "Big Gangan" and "Sunday GX," with the comics also available. The series has surpassed 33 million copies in total and had its first TV anime season aired from October 2023 to March 2024. The production of the second season has been confirmed.
