Episode 12 Synopsis - "Call of the Night"

Kou takes a drunken Anko back to Nazuna’s room and stays as a “bed-sharing companion,” where Anko falls asleep after speaking about the struggles of life; later, Kou and Nazuna wander the night city contemplating what it means to be “normal.”

About Call of the Night

Originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday since August 2019, Call of the Night follows Kou Yamori, a restless middle schooler who dislikes social interactions—especially with girls. One night, he meets the mysterious vampire beauty Nazuna Nanakusa and embarks on a special kind of nightlife adventure.

The anime adaptation debuted in 2022, and the original manga concluded in January 2024.
